I was just tired. My body was strong and full of life, but in my soul I felt old. The golden sorrel quarter horse nudged my hand ever so gently bringing me back once again to Earth. Here I was at 20 years, married to a beautiful wife and yet he was tired. Something here was missing.
The trail led me past the new scenery, Yella more interested more than I. What was a matter with me? Shouldn't I be ecstatic? I was well off financially, my family was perfect....So what was wrong with me?

Running a hand down the pinto neck's Jackie smiled as she looked over at the strongly built mustang cross son of Blank Zip Chip. Now she wasn't a western horse but when she was offered to take him out for a walk around the trails Jackie jumped at the chance. Kid was just so sweet and adorable. Jackie had tacked the three year old up and placed Arizona, Asheena's daughter, on top in the saddle. Kid was that safe. Smiling she looked over at Arizona with a smile,
"You look great honey."
She said happily, looking at the blonde haired blue eyed daughter of Asheena with affection in her eyes. Smiling she looked ahead leading Kid further into the wilds.

Yella's intense sudden movements brought my attention back to reality. I heard the voice down the trail, curiosity nagging at my soul. One voice sounded like Jackie's....Could it be?
An excited, "Yah", escaped my throat as I gave Yella a good kick. We bolted down the trail, the trees blocking any possible view....

Kid threw up his head and snorted, ears flicking this way and that as he heard a voice and pounding of hooves before anyone else. Jackie gave the pinto's neck a pat as she looked around, murmurring soft words to the young stallion. Then she saw Yella sprinting towards them, the sexiest man alive astride the maginificent stallion. She was so lucky. She was married to him. Grinning from ear to ear she watched him come towards her. When he finally stopped she looked at him lovingly before hearing Arizona move behind her. Looking behind her she put an arm around Arizona and cooed softly to the one year old.

The view became clear, revealing an all to welcoming site. It seemed like it had been years since he'd looked upon her pretty face. He quickly reigned in the QH to avoid any kind of accident.
She looked so happy standing there, the little one just trusted her so implicitly. One day...she would make a great mother...But would I make a great father? Doubts plagued my mind as I quickly broke free of their despairing grip. If God willed them one day to start a family of their own, then he knew he could do it, God never gives you more than you can handle.....
Hello, there Beautiful and to you to Sweetie. In one swift motion I dismounted with the art of perfection as I walked over and planted a hello kiss on my love's lips.

Watching Kenny dismount Jackie knew she was lucky, not only to be his lover but his wife too. She could tell this was true love and trusted Kenny completely. She knew he'd never cheat on her or do anything to hurt her. Feeling his lips on hers she kissed him back, passion flowing from her touch before finally parting. She hated the parting bit, but then again when they did touch it sent bolts of electricty through her body. It did when they first met and it still did now. Looking over from Kenny to Arizona, a smile swept over Jackie's face as she noticed Arizona grin at Kenny happily. Her gaze fell back on Kenny as she gave a loving smile,
"I think she likes you."
She said playfully as she placed her left hand on his chest whilst her right held onto Kid's reins.

It felt right just to be with her, always had. He hated to think otherwise, for no other woman could possibly be capable of this intricate love between them. He was truly blessed, there was no doubt about that.
Yella snorted as Kenny held on loosely to the reins. He smiled as he looked towards Arizona. She was a cutie, that was obvious. He turned a smiling face to his love, So you think she likes me, eh?

"Oh yeah, your a natural with kids."
Jackie said with a smile, a hint of playfulness coming out on her angelic voice. Taking her hand off his chest she walked over to Arizona and picked her up. Holding her in one arm she then walked back over to Kenny with a smile. The blonde haired blue eyed one year old girl looked at Kenny with beaming eyes, a huge smile on her lips as she held her hands out to him. Jackie laughed softly as she looked at Arizona, she was so adorable. Since she had a lot of siblings looking after Arizona came naturally to her. Looking over at Kenny Jackie smiled,
"I missed you baby."
They had been together for a while now, about three months if she calculated right. Yet they hadn't slept together yet. One of them was always out of town on business, whether it was Jackie with Merc or Bailey, or Kenny with the westerners of IGS. It was a shame, but Jackie always knew he'd come back to her and she'd always come back to him. She could wait with him, as she knew he was worth the wait.
